Puddleglum and the 2 kids crossed the strange single arch bridge carefully. On the other side, they met a suspicious duo. A lady in a green dress, and a man covered in armor. The man had his face covers with his helmet. Puddleglum approached them cautiously. She said that there were gentle giants. She said that they could find lodging and a meal over there. The city that they were in was called Harfang. Puddleglum did not want to go, assuming it was a trap, but Jill and Eustace pleaded and pleaded and finally Puddleglum gave in. They set off for Harfang. The journey was treachorous. It started snowing and the children were losing hope. After a while, after all the complaints, they finally reached Harfang. They were greeted by strange giants, and were invited inside.
