Reading Journal 7

So we continue our journey with Jill and Eustace into the land of the giants. When they arrived, they weren't greeted with a pleasant welcoming. The giants were hurling giagantic boulders ar a cairn. The giants however, had terrible aim and hurled the boulders nowhere near the cairn. Next, the giants started quarreling furiously, slamming hammers into each others heads. After a while, they began to sit down and cry. Now, I think that this book portrays giants as a dumb creature, which is highly unfair. I, myself kind of like giants. But back on topic, Jill and Eustace traveled through the land of the giants for a number of days. Finally after approximately 10 days, they reached a waterfall with 1 single arch bridge stretching across it. Puddleglum, the marshwiggle, believed that it was a some kind of sorcery. In the end, it turned out that Puddleglum was right.
