"Wrong place at the wrong time"
Dont you just hate it when that happens, when you are innocently in the kitchen eating a cookie and the dog knocks over the vase. Or when you are sitting in the classroom when your favorite painting falls onto the floor. These moments always seem to happen to me. I always seem to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and accusations fall on me like rapid fire. The worst part is that you can't even argue it, or it's hard to. I mean, you are the only person there and there is really no other person to blame. It seems that I'm usually at the wrong place at the wrong time and almost never at the right place at the right time. That's life I guess.

"Forever, and ever, and ever"
This made me come up with the question, "what is forever?"
Forever seems like a long time. I really wouldn't like to do anything forever. I wouldn't really want to live forever, I wouldn't want to be dead forever either. Forever just seems so unimaginable. Like being stuck doing something for the rest of eternity. It's like being stuck in a trance. Personally, I believe the thought of doing anything forever is downright horrifying. Well that's it :D

"Easily in but not easily out."
This quote at first, didn't make much sense to me. It was because if you easily get in somewhere, it shouldn't be hard to come out. Then I thought of jail. You could easily get in jail but it might take years to come out. Then, theres traps. If someone was mean enough to trap you in a 20 ft hole, that'd be pretty hard to climb out of. Also, there are lobster pots and ankle snares. If an animal got trapped in one of those, there not gonna get out and they'll probably get killed by the fisher or hunter who trapped them. But still, this quote doesnt apply to everything, doesnt apply to most things, but, i still like it.

"If you live you may yet have good fortune but the dead are dead alike"

This quote was said by a horse to a princess named Aravis who wanted to kill herself. I believe that this quote means that even during hard times, you can't give in and if you just live a little longer, good fortune is going to strike you. The second part probably means that if you do give in and if you do perish, then you are just like everyone else who has passed on and fortune will not strike you ever again. I believe that this quote is pretty confusing and that it can be translated in many different ways, but that's why I chose it to be my quote of the week.

Very Late reading jounal

Ok I almost forgot to post this reading journal but okay I did it.
The quote I had was
"All good things must come to an end."

I really want to disagree with this quote because I like all the good things in my life and I don't want them to "come to an end". This quote somewhat reminds me of the time when our seventh grade teacher, Mrs. Randolph, was talking to us about the history of China. She was saying how it has been around for around 5000 years. But she concluded her lecture saying that "China, like every other empire, will fall eventually. Just like Rome, it was disappear" or something like that. China is a really awesome country and I don't want it to "fall". Well, I do agree with this quote, I just wish it weren't so true.

"An orphaned boy and a kidnapped horse gallop for Narnia . . . and freedom."
This quote was the first thing on the back of the book. I couldn't really find anything else to write about. Anyways, I changed the book I was reading because the other one was really boring. The new book I'm reading is called "The Horse and His Boy." So the quote above tells basically the whole plot of the story. The boy found a kidnapped horse and they left for Narnia. Now My question is, what is freedom? How is Narnia freedom. Maybe some random guy who hated Narnia would think it was the opposite of freedom. The truth is, there isn't "freedom" anywhere. You can't break a window and get away with it, you can't talk in class, you can't do a lot of things in this world. There is always a limitation. That is why there is NO freedom.

"Land in sight!"
I personally have never ever been on a boat before so when I look at this 3 word sentence, I think, what does it feel like to be on boat or ship. What does it feel like to see the land coming closer and closer? I think it should feel great. With the wind in your hair and the smell of the ocean all around you. I would be reluctant to leave the ship after seeing the land and those three words would be the phrase I would dread to hear. However, I were stranded at sea, and I haven't eaten or drank anything, it would be a whole different story. These three words would be the words I yearn to hear and they would send shivers down my spine, just thinking about going back on land once more and not drowning in the salty water.
