Reading journal 12?

Well, Now that they were trapped in the Giant's house, Puddlglum decided that they would have to act casual and not give any hints that they were trying to leave. After a while of acting nice, preppy, and "gay", (yes they used gay in this book) they got into the kitchen and found a giant cookbook. They looked through many recipes on how to prepare all sorts of animals. It was then, Jill saw a meal that wasn't very appetizing. The book had a recipe on how to cook "Man''. It said it was traditionally eaten during the autumn feast, which was the feast that was taking place that night. Knowing this, Jill, Eustace, and Puddleglum all try to escape the castle. Puddleglum reminded the kids to act casual and walk. He said that if you run, the giants would think that there was something wrong. Well, at that very same point in time, the King was just coming back from his hunting trip. He happened to notice a couple of humans and a marsh-wiggle walking away from the castle. At that point he probably knew what was going on and sent his men to capture the humans. Puddleglum now told everyone to RUN. They ran and ran and finally found an opening in the ground sort of. They entered knowing that if they didn't, they would be the main course of a Giant Feast. (no pun intended) When they entered the openeing, they kept sliding and sliding downward. It felt like it was never going to end, but finally, they crashed into a solid floor at the bottom. When they finally got up and cleared their minds, they met a group of men with the most horrifying look of Hopelessness you would ever see. They then took them to their "king". The king was strange as well. After a lot of talking, the king says that he transforms for 1 hour everyday. He supposedly tranforms into a serpent or something. That's why he gets binded for an hour everyday. And yeah thats all i got so far.
