Tree Power!

Right now, a team of MIT researchers are investigating the weak electrical currents that are generated from trees. To do this, they are using platinum electrodes and ficus plants. They finally have solved the mystery. They say that the pH difference between the soil and the living tree is the cause of creating electric currents. Now many scientists are debating how this power can be used for human benefits.

Reading Journals #10

The Children and the Marsh-wiggle later reunite. They start discussing on why they were at Harfang. They then said that the lady in green probably let them there as a trap and that way they would forgot about he Prince. They then decicded, it was time too leave Harfang. They tried to leave through the front door but, surprise surprise, they couldn't. The door was built for giants, so it was extremely large and even the Marsh-wiggle could not reach it. As they were struggling with the door they finally realized that the woman in green had tricked them and that they should've listened to Puddleglum. However, now wasn't the time to wish that they coud change the past. They needed to figure out a way to get out of the House and save Prince Rillian before its too late.

Reading Journal #9

Well, After Jill and Eustace were invited in my the giants, they were treated with food, comfort, and luxuries. When the Giant said that the "We will have them for dinner" I think she meant that she was going to eat them and not that they were invited. That was probably why she fed them and tried to make them "happy" as she had said "We can't have them for dinner if they are in such a bad mood." I'm foreshadowing that the lady in the green is probably the witch that had kidnapped the prince, and that she was leading the children into a trap. She probably wanted to get rid of them and foled them with stories of comfort, protection, and food. So Jill was treated with clothes and food. She also had a maid - like care giver. She kept giving Jill gigantic stuffed animals. The maid seemed almost like a Mary Poppins sort of character. She was really happy and strange at the same time. Well that's s far as i got. I might read a little more later, until then Adios. ^_^
